I love my wipes warmer. It is not a need but it is nice to have. I love them so much I have 2 of them. One for upstairs and the other for downstairs. They are both ones from Prince Lionheart. One is meant for disposable wipes and the other is meant for cloth. Any brand should do, I suppose.
I use cotton velor wipes from green mountain diapers. I order the larger size and they are big and absorbent. They are also very soft. http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/other.htm
At first I just used water but I would have a stinky smell if I didn't change the wipes everyday. That's so not gonna happen at my house with 4 little ones running around!
I now use Baby Wipe Juice as my solution to mix with water on the wipes.http://www.lusaorganics.com/natural-organic-skin-care-handmade-baby-wipe-juice-p/juice.htm The scent is very nice and it freshens my diaper pail. One word of caution if you do not like scents this wipes solution is not for you. The first wipes solution that I tried was Diaper Lotion Potion. http://www.kissaluvs.com/diaper-lotion-potion.php It works good and has a very light scent.
